Mica Springs Farm is located in Central Virginia, just an hour west of Richmond. Settled in the heart of Louisa County, Mica Springs sprawls over 300 acres of pastureland and trails. With a 12 stall barn, outdoor ring, lighted indoor with 2 attached stalls, tack room with lockers for individual boarders, and multiple pastures with reasonable boarding rates, Mica Springs is the perfect place to learn, relax, and enjoy your time with your horse.
The AQHA and Mica Springs Farm will be teaming up on 31 May 2008 for a trail ride. June is trail riding awareness month, and the team up will help bring attention to the grounds we are losing for trail riding due to development and other businesses. Please come out and help raise awareness for the cause - it will be $30/head. Trail ride starts at 10a, and lunch is at 1. The cost of the ride also includes your lunch, provided by the Virginia Quarter Horse Youth Association. There will be no rentals, so if you would like to go on the ride, please bring your own horse. Also, as for any horse show, a negative coggins is required upon check in.
